Kawakawa and Arnica for muscles and joints, warmed with cayenne and horopito.
OKU | Kawakawa & Arnica Balm / 80g
A premium warming and soothing herbal formula that is intended for wherever there is pain, inflammation or trauma to muscles and joints. The two stars of the blend that work incredibly well together are Wild-harvested Kawakawa and Arnica that both have wonderful anti-inflammatory properties. These are then blended with Wild & hand-harvested NZ Horopito and NZ Tutu with Cayenne. Together, these herbs provide a broad range of properties to help amplify and compliment the Kawakawa and Arnica. The herbs are supported with the analgesic qualities of Peppermint and Clove Essential oils and the NZ First Light essence remedy for Trauma Akeake. Together, these ingredients effectively soothe inflammatory or painful conditions involving muscles and joints. All formulated in a nourishing and moisturising 100% natural base.

The Kawakawa Healing Balm is gentle enough for broken skin and delicate skin (including babies), while the Kawakawa & Arnica Balm is formulated for muscles and joints rather than broken skin — check the specific product before applying to a wound.
As with any herbal product, check with your healthcare provider before use if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a specific health condition — particularly with the Arnica blend.
The balm is oil-based, so allow it to absorb fully before dressing to avoid marking light-coloured fabric.
With regular use on a specific area, a 40g jar typically lasts several weeks to a couple of months, depending on how often and how much you apply.
No — our balms are traditional herbal formulas intended to soothe and support, not to diagnose, treat or cure any medical condition. For persistent pain, inflammation or skin complaints, please see your healthcare provider.
