Four Coromandel honeys in one box — mānuka, Pōhutukawa and Native Bush side by side.
A genuine taste of New Zealand in one box. This 309 Honey Variety Sampler brings together four of the Coromandel's most distinctive raw honeys — two mānuka grades plus two of Aotearoa's most loved floral honeys, Pōhutukawa and Native Bush. It's the perfect introduction to what makes New Zealand honey so special, and a beautiful gift that goes beyond the expected.
All four honeys are raw and unpasteurised, sourced from 309 Honey's own hives in the Coromandel Peninsula — one of New Zealand's most pristine and biodiverse beekeeping regions.
Contents: 4 √ó 250g jars (1kg total)
Not everyone is after a high-potency mānuka honey — and this box is a reminder that New Zealand produces so much more than that. Pōhutukawa honey in particular is something visitors and honey lovers alike rarely expect: it's uniquely New Zealand and genuinely hard to find outside the country. At $59.99, this is also one of the best-value NZ honey gifts you can give — four full-size 250g jars of raw Coromandel 309 honey, beautifully presented and ready to go.
Ideal for: New Zealand foodie gifts, honey lover gift sets, Coromandel souvenirs, Christmas gifts, corporate gifting, and anyone wanting to explore the full flavour range of NZ honey.

MGO (methylglyoxal) is the naturally occurring compound that gives mānuka honey its distinctive properties, and its concentration is what determines the grade. A higher MGO number means a higher concentration and a more potent, intensely flavoured honey. All our honey is lab tested to verify the MGO rating on the label.
Yes. Raw, unpasteurised honey simply hasn't been heat-treated, so its natural enzymes, pollen and flavour stay intact. It's how honey has been eaten for thousands of years, and it's safe for most people — the only exception is children under 12 months old, for whom any honey isn't recommended due to the small risk of infant botulism.
Crystallisation is completely natural, especially in raw honey — it's a sign your honey hasn't been over-processed, not a sign it's gone off. If you prefer it runny, sit the jar in a bowl of warm (not boiling) water until it softens.
There's no strict rule — many people take a spoonful straight, stir it into warm water or lemon, or use it on toast. For a daily wellness routine, a teaspoon or two is a common amount.
Honey of any kind — including mānuka — should not be given to children under 12 months old, due to a small risk of infant botulism. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any health concerns, it's best to check with your healthcare provider before adding mānuka honey to your routine.
Keep it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight — there's no need to refrigerate it. Stored this way, raw honey lasts a very long time thanks to its natural low moisture and acidity.
