The blend is rounded with the soft sweetness of Licorice and a subtle hint of Ginger.
New Formula: We are excited to introduce our new and improved Energise formula! If you loved the original blend, rest assured it still contains all the same wonderful herbs and properties. Now, we've enhanced it with Yerba Maté for added benefits. While Yerba Maté does contain caffeine, it doesn't cause the jitters associated with coffee. Plus, it's packed with antioxidants to give you an extra boost!

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I brew OKU tea?
Steep one teabag in freshly boiled water for 5-10 minutes — the longer you steep, the stronger and more full-bodied the flavour. Some of our herbs (like Kūmarahou) have a naturally bitter taste, so steep to your preference and add a touch of honey if you'd like to soften it.
How many cups can I drink a day?
Most people enjoy 1-3 cups a day. As with any herbal tea, if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a health condition, check with your healthcare provider before making it a regular part of your routine.
What does "wildharvested" mean?
It means the herb is sustainably hand-harvested from its natural wild environment (native NZ bush), rather than commercially cultivated — many of our native NZ herbs, like Kawakawa and Kūmarahou, are gathered this way.
Are these teas caffeinated?
Most of our blends are naturally caffeine-free, made from 100% herbs. The exception is our Energise blend, which contains Yerba Maté and green tea, both of which contain natural caffeine (gentler than coffee, without the jitters).
How should I store my tea?
Keep the tube sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the natural oils and potency of the herbs.
