Each Pāli basket is individually handwoven in a remote village in Myanmar, using new pallet strapping made from recycled plastics. Locals collect plastics from streets and beaches, which are then recycled into pellets and transformed into rolls of new strapping. This sustainable process not only helps the environment but also supports local communities.

The traditional Burmese weaving techniques have been passed down through generations. Every basket sold enables our ongoing support of the artisans, village families, and local Burmese communities.
