Each Pāli basket is individually handwoven in a remote village in Myanmar, crafted from new pallet strapping made from recycled plastics. These plastics are collected by locals from streets and beaches, recycled into pellets, and then transformed into rolls of new strapping. Our KuuKuu style incorporates bamboo in the base, sourced from local farmers.

The traditional Burmese weaving techniques used in creating these baskets have been passed down through generations. Every basket sold supports the artisans, village families, and local Burmese communities, ensuring that these time-honored skills continue to thrive.
