Tiny surface bumps or pinprick marks are a natural part of the heat-press and glazing process, giving each piece its own character.

Kathryn Furniss is a self-taught painter from Nelson, inspired by the Pacific landscape and native birds. Her acrylic and ink works layer abstract washes with fine detail, telling stories of protection, journeys and connection.
