Wellington's Six Barrel Soda Co. have been shaking up the soda game with experimental batches and flavours that pop, since 2012.
They use real ingredients like NZ citrus juices, Central Otago cherries, organic ginger, organic rose petals, and fair-trade organic cane sugar to make natural drinks that taste great, look spectacular and are packaged in glass.
SBS has partnered with wildlife sanctuary Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne to craft this syrup with a zesty mix of kiwifruit and kawakawa - a nod to the kiwi that roam the sanctuary and the native plants that grow there. For every bottle purchased, they donate $1 to Zealandia and their conservation mission to help the birds, plants and critters of Aotearoa thrive in Wellington and beyond.
