The unferling frond of our native punga (fern) is called a koru in Maori, which means 'new' or 'beginning'.

This punga koru pendant features delicate filigree tendrils in sterling silver, the perfect memento of a visit to Aotearoa. 

Koru are used extensively in Maori carving, tattoo, and other art forms.
